In the internal structure of these compressors, the picture consists of two snail-like spirals, one fixed and the other moving.
The movable snail rotates at high speed in the fixed snail 180° in the opposite direction.

Sealing is ensured by the oil absorbed together with the refrigerant between the precision machined and high speed rotating snails. As a result of the rotation of the snail (spiral) structures to each other in the direction of sweat, gas is absorbed into the spaces formed between the snail spirals. The absorbed gas is transported to successive smaller spiral pockets, and the compression process continues increasingly until the center of the snail pieces.
Since the system capacity is a function of the scroll rotor speed and volume, it is classified as a positive displacement compressor in structure.

In scroll compressors, snail (spiral) parts, one of which is fixed and the other working, which are bedded together at both ends, are precision machined to provide sealing between them. Scroll compressors do not have suction and discharge valves. If we examine it carefully in Picture 2.14, our refrigerant coming from the suction opens directly to the body and comes into contact with the electric motor windings. The discharge outlet fills the upper part of the body and the outlet is given from the discharge pipe. That is, the hot gas in the discharge does not come into contact with the electric motor windings. In this structure, the scroll compressor will be somewhat prevented from being exposed to high temperatures and refrigerant liquid impacts.
